CASE STUDY: EFI

Built once. Owned forever.

We rescued $50 million worth of EFI's project data, then built a modern system they use every day to track projects and close deals.

The challenge

EFI's historical data was locked in a database so old that nobody could open it anymore. Thirteen years of valuable client relationships and project history were inside, completely inaccessible. Not knowing their own history, or how to build on it, was slowing the company's growth.

The approach

We extracted EFI's data and migrated it to modern cloud infrastructure they own completely. Now their sales team uses it every day to track relationships, identify opportunities and stay organized. It's their foundation for predictable and sustainable growth, 100% owned by them.

1

Access

We accessed EFI's old database remotely, analyzed the structure, and developed custom extraction scripts to pull everything out without losing a single relationship or project detail.

2

Deployment

We deployed a secure cloud database, migrated all thirteen years of data using those scripts, and validated every connection to make sure nothing broke in the translation.

3

Development

We built them a modern interface including custom views, project entry forms, and full team access—and trained their people so they could start using it immediately.

The results

$50MM in historical project data recovered.

EFI now has access to 1400 projects they can analyze to understand what worked, what didn't, and where the real money was made.

4,000 lost contacts they can reactivate.

Every client relationship between 1994 and 2007 is now searchable, usable, and valuable again.

Certainty out of chaos.

They're already using it to close deals today, pulling data for clients, tracking relationships, and staying organized.

A foundation they own completely.

EFI can integrate Sage, build custom dashboards, and add whatever they need, whenever they need it. The system is theirs, and they decide what gets built next.

We're pulling some of the data today to use with a client, it's been very helpful!
